Royalty Free Music LICENSING

The following information details the licensing arrangement we will have with you upon your purchase of music produced by The Music Bakery:

In return for your payment for each CD or Download in the library, we will grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-site lifetime license to use the music in synchronization within any of your own audio or video productions and to market and distribute those productions worldwide.

Use in major theatrical releases or in mass-market retail distribution (3000+ units) is licensed separately by contacting Kelly Atkinson at 800-229-0313 or

You are NOT permitted to share, re-sell, reproduce, or otherwise transfer the music itself to any other individual or production company. Any attempt to reproduce, share or re-sell the music itself will subject you to criminal prosecution. This music is protected by the copyright laws of the United States and other countries who provide for severe criminal penalties including fines, imprisonment and injunctive relief.

*Domestic and international broadcast of this music is cleared through BMI, whose revenues are collected directly from broadcast station licensing, NOT from you as a producer. If your production is to be broadcasted, you are required to file a cue sheet with BMI. There is no extra charge to you, the producer.

To prevent unauthorized re-use of the music and to protect yourself from liability, it is strongly recommended that the following warning message be included in each of your productions:
